The 'fake captain' thing is something that's been spinning around in my mind for awhile, until it felt like I could put that in Sanji's mouth for him to say to Franky here, without it feeling OOC (in my eyes). If I can find a way to expand on the subject - perhaps in a different fic, or perhaps rewriting this should I get a flash of inspiration for it - I'd love to do so! ^_^

I'm glad the ending worked - it was something I had some trouble with. Somehow it feels like since Franky doesn't actually do anything this thing should perhaps have a sequel, but I can't quite picture one as of yet...

I just can't let go of Franky/Robin. It just seems so there... I can picture them both with others but not without at least mentioning the other (unless it's set before they meet, of course). It's like how I have a hard time picturing an Usopp pairing without clarifying what his position wrt Luffy might be in the situation. Similarly with Zoro for that matter.
