Meme: Get a letter, name 4 favourite characters
I got a meme from Twitter! And I thought it could be fun on Dreamwidth/LJ too, if anyone here wants to do it.
The rules are easy: someone posts four faves whose names begin with the same letter. You make a comment, get assigned another letter, and then make your own post.
The post I got the meme from had uploaded official pics for each character, which is a-OK! But I decided to make a twist on it and draw some fanart doodles instead. (No real points for creativity, though - it's mostly redraws.)
I can suggest a third version, too, since uploading images is more cumbersome on Dreamwidth (and LJ) than on Twitter. In this version, you choose four adjectives/phrases for each character that you feel describe them well. (Example: "Kind, cool, goofy and cares deeply" for Sanji.)
I got the letter S! My choices:
Shizuku (Whisper of the Heart)
Shinpachi Shimura (Gintama)
Sanji (One Piece)
Susan Ptolemy (Giant Days)
I had several other contenders before settling on the above four: Sakaki from Azumanga Daioh, Shoyo and Sakamoto from Gintama, and Strongbow from Elfquest.
So just comment if you want to do something like this, too - in any version of the meme!
