Fic post: Under Coloured Lanterns

Here’s a fic that has been long in finishing, though it’s quite short in plot (none, pretty much), number of characters (two) and settings (one).

Title: Under Coloured Lanterns
Spoilers/setting: Right after chapter 433, at the tail-end of the huge party in Water 7 that Luffy blew 100 million berries on
Characters: Usopp, Paulie
Rating: PG, mostly for swearing
Pairing: Mentions or hints of Paulie->Iceburg, Iceburg/Franky, Paulie/Lucci, Paulie/Kaku; Luffy/Usopp, Usopp/Kaya. And maaaybe a dash of Paulie/Usopp. (The order of the names mean nothing. I can’t possibly keep track of who’d be topping who amongst all of those! ;)
Summary: Basically you can see this as two guys in love with their bosses sharing some drunken quality time. And I’m not too sure about the ‘quality’ part.

Note: IIRC, my initial impulse for this was simply to see if I could write one of those cool unusual pairing fics. Well, turned out I couldn’t – not a pairing in the stricter sense, at least. I rather enjoyed having these two hang out together, though.
