follow me into the rain

I've been trying my best to follow both a Gintama Inktober challenge and a regular Inktober challenge, each naturally with its own set of prompts. However, I must admit that the only way I will get off my procrastinating butt and start drawing is to think of it as doodling rather than drawing and put a number of conditions on it that I think follows the original spirit of Inktober (?) but with my limited drawing skills does make the result rather rough. But then my art tends to look pretty rough regardless.

(Should explain that I can only draw in analog, I don't own a tablet and also don't know how to use one.)

My Inktober rules are:

1. Only use ink. As I do not own any coloured inks at the moment, this means only black and white.
2. No pencilling beforehand, and thus no erasing either.
3. But it's okay to abandon a drawing and start a new ink drawing instead.
4. Digital cropping of the photo of the drawing is okay, but no other digital retouching. So no digital erasing of blemishes either, or other adjustments. This means they all look pretty dark with no light and contrast adjustments I would normally add in GIMP.
5. A rough drawing of a mediocre idea is much to prefer to no drawing at all. Get something done, post it, move on.

The art for regular Inktober has so far included fanart for One Piece and Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun as well as original art.

Two more writing exercises with a Gintoki/Katsura theme.

First one was cheating a bit since it used emojis to signify who's talking, thus being able to be more succinct than it otherwise could have done.
