Sudden attempt at two Ginzura tanka. I guess spring is affecting me... Warning for sappiness.

The flavour I'm going for is cosy with thoughtful bits and silly bits and eventually somewhat sexy bits. In a way it might be seen as a relatively fluffy companion piece to my much angstier fic "Bathing In A Time Of Peace".

Last night I wrote a short Ginzura ficlet inspired by a prompt from Flufftober and by a Ginzura Kisstober hashtag on Twitter. I wrote it fairly off-the-cuff. Hopefully I'll be able to write more short stuff like this in October, whether for Flufftober or even Kinktober or promptless.

Title: Only Time Enough For This One Candle

I wrote a Gintoki/Katsura poem from Gintoki's POV. No spoilers, and very vague on details in fact, but I guess I think of it as being written at some point past the mid-point of canon but before the final arc kicks into gear.

I realized only now, several months late, that I completely forgot to post a Merry Christmas here on Dreamwidth for 2021.

I will post it now and cheekily backdate it, since I did draw Gintama fanart for it! A bit clumsily coloured, but I like it anyway. A family outing at Christmas time, set after the end of the manga and the final movie. Intended as both Ginzura and KyuTae.

( better late than never, the motto for us procrastinators, but Gin-san would agree )
