It was Gintoki's birthday on October 11, but I had pulled a muscle and was in agony, couldn't draw at all for a week. Finally drew birthday art which was finished this past Tuesday, but it's always more complicated to post to Dreamwidth and I kept postponing it.

But here it is!

It's nearly June 26th here, it's already been that for many hours in Japan, so it's time to celebrate Katsura's birthday with a new Ginzura shortfic! The first of two, I plan to post the second in the morning. I will also post to AO3 collecting the four Ginzura shortfics I haven't posted there yet, only here or (for some of them) on Tumblr. Possibly I will include a couple of short-short tweetfics too, not sure yet.

I wanted to use the prompt "back alley" which is popular on the Japanese side of Ginzura Twitter, and I guess this is the result. Didn't turn up as hot as I'd hoped, but my fics seldom do. I hope it will still be of some enjoyment to somebody.

As always, constructive criticism is very welcome, nitpicks included, and so is feedback in general.

Happy Birthday, Luffy!

Today is Luffy's birthday! I've got two pics, such as they are. (I wanted to draw something inspired by a fic-in-progress I'm betaing for tonko_ni, but couldn't manage it, alas.)

The first one is a semi-angsty pic set in Water 7 during the days when the crew is waiting for the ship to be built and Luffy stays in all day in case Usopp comes around. (Crossposted to dualcaptains.)

This pic has been long in coming as it gave me more trouble than usual, leading me to ask for advice from two pic betas, horusguard76 and wendytigges. Thanks awfully! <33 If it's turned out at all decent, it's due to their help - however, it's not their fault if it hasn't, as I'm posting my last version unseen.
