I wrote two sets of haiku about Gintoki/Katsura, with three haiku in each set. The first set is from Gintoki's POV, the second from Katsura's. No spoilers.
Gintoki, I
Let me hold your hands.
Hold off on the lunacy -
Let me touch your lips.
Gintoki, II
Let me rest right here.
And sense your quiet burning,
Your sheltering flame.
Gintoki, III
Want to drag you down,
To the shabby street-level.
Be dirty like me.
Katsura, I
You debauched lout...
Yet for all that dirty sheen,
You're the purer one.
Katsura, II
If I hold you now,
Will you stay here, real and warm,
With no dissolving?
Katsura, III
The city's in you.
But I can't stop worrying
You will leave one day.
Gintoki, I
Let me hold your hands.
Hold off on the lunacy -
Let me touch your lips.
Gintoki, II
Let me rest right here.
And sense your quiet burning,
Your sheltering flame.
Gintoki, III
Want to drag you down,
To the shabby street-level.
Be dirty like me.
Katsura, I
You debauched lout...
Yet for all that dirty sheen,
You're the purer one.
Katsura, II
If I hold you now,
Will you stay here, real and warm,
With no dissolving?
Katsura, III
The city's in you.
But I can't stop worrying
You will leave one day.
