Wallowing in fluff

Been a while since I posted any art, so here's a set of three pictures featuring Luffy, Nami and Usopp just hanging out on a grassy meadow on some island. The last one has Chopper on it, too. Very worksafe stuff. As always, I hope you'll have patience with my errors in anatomy and perspective - though giving me concrit on them is quite OK, too!

These are really charming! I love how in the second picture it looks like Usopp is bragging his ass off, and the sweet nature of all of them. :D Thanks for sharing~

Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed them. And yes, Usopp is supposed to be lying his ass off in the second picture. ;)
(Usopp seems incapable of just lying around doing nothing in quiet, when he isn't asleep - if you look at colour spreads, he's always talking, laughing or doing something.)

Eeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!

I have to get in line and say the second is my favourite too, I love their expressions so much, Luffy just looks happy (and his hair is so adorable), Nami looks contended and a little indulgent, and Usopp looks totally in the flow of whatever he's saying.

But the other two are right up there, the whole set just buried me in fuzzies, the butterfly on Luffy's hat and Nami with the flower and on the bottom the big snores and Chopper sooooooo cute covering them up and Usopp's boots off XDD

(And, perhaps oddly, I really like how you did Usopp's teeth. From a drawing perspective.)

Oh, thank you very much! I've had the idea for these drawings a loooong time now but it took time to get them done, so it's very nice to hear they work!

(Usopp's teeth I think I basically just copied from the manga. I tend to look at manga panels a lot when doing fan art. ^_^)

Awww, these three are adorable and tell a very light and fluffy story. I too really like the 2nd picture. I think because it's closer in and you really convey a great deal of emotion in their expressions. Also, <3 Chopper in the last picture taking care of them. Now I'm wondering if Nami is the only one still with her shoes on.

This reminds me as well that I have to go back to the 3some fic that you posted because I think that's right around the time I have to head back to to start catching up on all the commenting I've been neglecting.

Thanks awfully! I just felt I had to get Chopper in there somewhere, so he's all "tsk-tsk" and disapproving that they'd go to sleep out in the open where they migth catch a cold and all.

Nami does seem to keep her shoes on a lot in colour spreads and the like, so maybe she does so here. If I were her, I'd take them off to be more comfortable - then again, if I were her I wouldn't wear such high heels in the first place, so what do I know? :)

Cool! I wasn't expecting feedback on that one, so I'm looking forward to it (go critical if you want to!). I've been rather remiss in reading and commenting lately myself - I blame that op_fanforall thing for distracting me way too much. ;p

I really like the one in the middle best. From the perspective to Nami's hair - everything is perfect. And I really love her face. That drawing of her is simply beautiful. You have captured her very well. :) Love it.

Luffy appears extremely youngish in the first drawing. His face is a tiny bit off other than that it is a very nice one. You captured their figures very well.

The third one is funny but not so much my style. And out of all the little details Luffys' feet stick out the most to me. I love them. To bits. They are perfection. :)

Yeah, I like the middle one best too. I don't think I'd have liked it as much if it was by itself, though - I like them together as a set.

(nods) Luffy *was* pretty damn hard to draw in profile in the first pic: I'm not surprised he ended up looking too young.

Awwwwwwwwwww, so peaceful and sweet and they're together and happy and I want to take this moment and hug it very gently and let the warmth in the pictures seep into my heart and make things all better...
