Hullo, Dreamwidth!

I fractured my wrist a week ago after slipping on some steps outside full of packed snow. I have taken the elevator since... Other than this, not much to say. Have been working on stuff for the Chocolate Box exchange but can't say anything about it yet.

I did just post brief musing on Tumblr on some similarities between One Piece and Gintama in case anyone is curious. (Really nothing like an actual analysis, but very much welcoming other people's views on it, anyway!)

Yeah, pretty much! Can't manage all of my usual everyday tasks, so I've scaled down on some and have had help from others. But I'm getting by!

I do worry that the fracture might not be healing correctly, in which case I'll need surgery. On Thursday I'll get x-rayed again and will find out. *nervous*

OH NOOO sorry about your wrist! It's SO DANGEROUS here these days! I hope you heal up quickly! (Wait. Your Swedish 'vrist' or your English 'wrist'? Those are confusingly similar, but if you're taking the elevator and typing without problems it's probably your ankle? Either way: god bättring!)

And good luck with Chocolate Box! I wanted to write for it, but failed at words.

English wrist and Swedish handled! I prefer to take the elevator right now because I'm scared I'll have another fall... I mostly type with my left hand at the moment but I'm able to use the right one a little bit. The fingers are okay. My wrist and most of my lower arm is in a cast.

Oh noooooo having trouble typing is like. Worse than not being able to walk! Hope they fix you up quickly.

Heh, yeah... it's certainly cut down on my ability to finish Chocbox treats in time! But at least it's not impossible.
