Gintama 77 + fanbook! (no spoilers, just volume covers)

This just arrived: my super-self-indulgent purchase of the 77th and final volume of Gintama plus the special fanbook that was released simultaneously! I ordered it even though I don't know Japanese and I know I will be terribly tantalized by seeing pictures I can't read...

But I wanted to show Sorachi a small token of my appreciation, and I want to be part of this whole moment in Gintama fandom, not wanting to say goodbye but celebrating this amazing story and its world.

ahhhh it's so pretty. i'm hoping to remain unspoiled until the anime catches up with the finale, but ahhh, the temptation is strong.

It's possible there won't be a final batch of anime episodes but that the last chapters will be covered in a movie instead. A movie has been announced, but with zero details; but that's one persistent rumour, at least.

That should mean good production values but also that a number of scenes will be cut or significantly shortened, so I have mixed emotions. But nothing is known yet!
