Sunny's flag and General Chopper

There's a One Piece matter I've been thinking of for awhile now, and that is: who painted the flags and the main sail of the Thousand Sunny?
It can't have been Usopp, 'cause he hadn't rejoined back when Sunny was finished, including flags. And Merry's flag and sail was burned along with her. So, did Franky do it, I wonder? Or one of the Galley-La guys? This puzzles me.

OK, now for some art.

These pics, alas, turned out to be the kind where almost no-one looks right no matter what you do. Chopper in the second pic and Luffy in the third pic especially...erg...My apologies. Maybe I'll manage to redraw them later. I still like the idea, though. ;)
Edit: Tried to do some re-drawing: they may look slightly better now, though still a bit deformed.

Adorable! Nevermind that some characters are bit disfigured here and there. It is the spirit that counts! And the idea is certainly a sweet one. I am a bit surprised that Nami indulges Chopper in something like that since they don't have that much of a bond imo but it works! (treasure hunter Nami!)

I absolutely LOVE how Luffy delivers the line about immaturity.... he is not one to talk really. (He who asked Sogeking for a bloody autograph! lol)

"Trusty steed" and "General Chopper" that had me laughing out loud. And don't take this wrong way and I am certainly no sexist but hola.... Look at Robin's chest in the first picture. very well done. (Is it ok to be envious?) :)

Whew, it's nice of you to look past the disfigurement!

I agree that playing a game like this with anyone is OOC for Nami, though actually I think she has a pretty good bond with Chopper (she was quite distraught when Foxy recruited him during the Davy Back Fight, for instance; they looked pretty close in Water 7 after Iceburg spilled the truth about Robin; and she's the only one in the crew with an inkling of Chopper's back story, IIRC). Here, I think she just got caught up in the moment and for some mysterious reason got completely absorbed into the game. Same deal with Zoro, and maybe for Robin too.

If you are also envious of her probable back pains, to be sure! ;) Did I go too much overboard with her boobs there? Oda's girls have such weird body proportions that when I draw them I always tell myself: "Make the boobs much bigger and higher than you think they should be; then, make them bigger again". But perhaps I went too far this time. ^_^

Nahh, Robin's chest is quite right. Just look at movie 7 (scene in blue dress). :) The thing with breasts is that they appear even "bigger" due to the stark contrast with the ultra narrow waists/hips. But me likey!

For some reason "it is a most fearful sight" cracks me up, LOL, I think it's the idea of Robin playing along, but still being her unruffled self. <33

I love Chopper's authoritative leaning in the second pic, and also Franky in the third, and Sanji's curly question mark, LOLOLOL.

As for the flag... I guess it was Franky, or Iceburg maybe? As jolly rogers go it's not too complicated, and we know Franky was very detailed about doing stull like Mini Merry (::waaaah::) so I can imagine him painting that too. I guess he could've got some random Galley-La painter dude to do it, of course, but I prefer to think that he or Iceburg did >.>

"It is a most fearful sight" is my favourite line here, too. :) Note that Robin knows exactly the right type of vocabulary for this kind of adventure, while Zoro and Nami are just talking in their usual way.

Yeah, I prefer to think it was Franky or Iceburg who did Sunny's flags and sail. Or possibly Paulie/Lulu/Tyleston. But in any case, I'd like to know for sure. I keep hoping for the question to turn up in an SBS one day...
