May I just take the opportunity to say how impressed I am by your current ambition of posting something creative One Piece-related every day of the hiatus, and how much I enjoy the result so far? ♥

I tried to draw Ben and Shanks art for you, but could only manage a sketch I feel somewhat apologetic about, in truth.


I know they're probably too badass for blankets, but I like blankets. ^_^

Also did this last minute doodle:

(I'm picturing this as them just having met, and li'l Luffy is already dragging li'l Zoro around to somewhere he thinks interesting, despite li'l Zoro's protests.)

They are totally NOT too badass for blankets. Blankets are practical after all, and Ben would make Shanks wear one when he could just so he didn't catch a cold and become an annoying whiny bastard. I really like that Ben's asleep or seems to be. XD Shanks obviously wore him out.

And the chibis are so cute! Luffy would totally drag Zoro all over the place!

Btw, I just contributed to eiliem's new chaos thread (http://eiliem.livejournal.com/31727.html). The fill I wrote isn't a giftfic, since I wanted to participate in the chaos thread anyway - but this being your birthday was what inspired me to try writing about Shanks (from Ben's POV), rather than anyone else.
