rainsometimesThis is a list of manga that aren't actually from this decade at all! They were originally both started and finished before 2010.
...However, largely due to lags in translation but in some cases more because I was slow to discover them, I still happened to read them (or at least part of them) during this decade. So they were part of my own personal manga-reading decade!
It was hard to rank them internally. I'm relatively sure of the top 1-3 spots, but the rest could easily be placed differently, and the "honourable mentions" were close to the list, too.
Honourably mentions that nearly made it on:
Otherworld Barbara, Mokke, Onwards Towards Our Noble Deaths, and Cross Game
10. A Drifting Life & NonNonBa (I couldn't leave either out...)
9. Gabai - Saga no Gabai Bâ-chan ("Une sacrée mamie" in French)
8. Eyeshield 21
7. In This Corner Of The World
6. Claymore
5. Showa
4. Nodame Cantabile
3. 20th Century Boys
2. Iguana Girl (the only short story on this list and all other end-of-decade lists: normally I don't list something this short, but this story is just SO GOOD)
