Second part of recent Gintama fanart of mine. This is the gen version and it's the longer one.
Some spoilers here, beware!
Birthday pic for a friend. Sôgo seems to have gotten a present of his own - a fierce fight with an unseen but skilled opponent.

I made an illustration for my own fanfic You Could Turn This Way. This moments comes three seconds before spicy disaster...

Like with the bridge pic above, this seems to come from a fairy tale or a dream.

Done for Shoka Sonjuku Week back in March. Prompt: "magic". I used my "Wizard AU" idea for this.
Apprentice wizard Takasugi has managed to make flowers bloom. As Shoyo praises him for it, apprentice wizard Katsura puts great fairylike wings on Shoyo's back.

Also done for Shôka Sonjuku week. Prompt: "chores".
It's Takasugi's turn to chop wood, but Gintoki hid the axe and says Takasugi should chop wood with his bare hands like a badass samurai supposedly would. (But Zura has just found the axe...)

Set early on in Gintoki's past, not long after meeting Shôyô. Prompt: "yokai". Shôyô shushes a Tsuchi-Korobi yokai so Gintoki won't wake up and be scared.

Prompt: "Coffeeshop".

Another pic for Shoka Sonjuku Week. Prompt: "Big brother".

I really love Shinpachi. Steadfast and perceptive, best Glasses and best Tsukkomi ever! ♥♥♥ He and Kagura together share the spot as my third favourite character in the whole series.
Here, I impulsively redrew a moment from manga chapter 59, Umibozu arc. When I first saw the equivalent of this moment in the anime was when I knew I had fallen in love with Gintama for real.

Spoilers up to the end of Battle at Rakuyo arc
This image goes with a very vague AU idea where Oboro still went back to the Naraku and perhaps still had a hand in Shoyo's arrest, but he wasn't present at Shoyo's execution. Instead he ran away from the Naraku at around that time and has been on the run from them for ten years. He probably hasn't met Utsuro.>
